MNP100

Intro

The MNP100 began as a personal project born from my love of high-end audio and woodworking.

As a longtime McIntosh owner, I’ve always appreciated exceptional craftsmanship. After rebuilding my turntable with a custom walnut plinth, I wanted a “Now Playing” display that looked at home alongside the rest of my system. When I couldn’t find what I had envisioned, I built my own.

After sharing it with fellow enthusiasts, I began receiving requests to make more. What started as a project for my own listening room became a small side hobby, and the MNP100 was born.

Each stand is handcrafted by me in limited batches, and the Summer of 2026 production run is planned to be the final one of the year. Continue on to hear about its features and steps to getting your own.

Manufacturing
Process

1. Selection, milling, planing, and precision trimming of premium hardwood
2. Precision cutting and assembly of all hardwood components
3. Hand routing and refinement of internal cavities for lighting, electrical components, and switch integration
4. Laser cutting and fabrication of the illuminated front façade
5. Precision cutting, machining, and preparation of the aluminum faceplate
6. Professional anodizing of the aluminum components
7. Hand assembly and wiring of all electrical circuitry
8. Hand application of Rubio Monocoat® hardwax oil to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the wood
9. Final mechanical and electrical assembly
10. Comprehensive quality control inspection and functional testing
11. Customer review and approval prior to final shipment
12. Carefully packaged and shipped via UPS

Craftsmanship

The MNP100 is not a mass-produced accessory. Each stand is individually handcrafted from premium hardwood and built one at a time with the same attention to detail I would expect for my own listening room.

From preparing the hardwood and hand-routing each enclosure, to fabricating the aluminum façade, wiring the electronics, applying the Rubio Monocoat® finish, and performing final quality checks, every step is completed with care and precision. The result is a piece designed to complement a high-end audio system not only visually, but also in quality and longevity.

At $1,000 USD, the MNP100 includes UPS Ground shipping to addresses within the United States. While the price reflects the materials, craftsmanship, and time invested into each stand, it also represents a value that is difficult to match with comparable custom-built furniture or audio accessories.

This is a limited, small-batch project created for fellow enthusiasts who appreciate the details. My goal has always been to build something exceptional; not simply something that fills a space.

  Additional $40 USD shipping charge to most international destinations.

Process

Payment is not required until you have reviewed your finished MNP100 stand and have approved it. I will contact you to discuss payment options at that time.

Completion of these units are expected between the end of July and mid-August, order based on first-come, first-serve basis.
